Ujournal’s agonizing death brought me over to Livejournal…but apparently Ujournal did something redemptive in its past life…as it is reincarnated at http://www.aboutmylife.net. They’re still pulling files, slowly, from the old corpse into the new form – data-plasma transplant. I’ll be doing the same, taking those entries and bringing them into my live journal. Not that I think there’s a line of people seeking to sift through a couple years of old posts, but I’m glad to have them back.
I’ll start with my first post and move up, starting with (9-3-02)…
Good Luck.
I feel your pain. I just finished importing all mine to LiveJournal. What a pain in the ass. Oh well, at least it’s done. BTW, how did the improv show go?
Re: Good Luck.
Yeah…pain…
I just did my first month of posts (september 2002) and switched them over (and backed them up on my computer). The improv show, I thought, went well. The troupe has grown tremendously, which is good, and a challenge. Alot of people diffuses the practice time and it takes longer for people to get used to each others timing and quirks and trust and so on. But, there is quite a bit of variety and talent. I think there’s a lot of work still to do, but it’s a good group, and there’s just enough of the experienced folk to round it out (including one wary post grad clinging to the last, lingering threads of Eureka…).
Ah, but I save my thread clinging for the weekends…now to work, to present, and to future…
(well…after I watch few Batman Animated Series episodes…then to work and yadda yadda)
